Volcanic Film Show
There are two movies in the Volcanic Film Show which lasts for about 55 min.“Days of Destruction” is a movie about the eruption in 1973 and “Miracles” shows the time after the eruption, the clean up of the town, the puffling rescue, festival, fishing industry and a short clip of the Surtsey eruption in 1963. The shows are in English with either German or French subtitle.

Don´t miss it during your stay on the island.
In July and August we show as well a documentary about the puffins and “the puffling thief” a story about a group of children in the town rescuing the pufflings.
