One of our most popular tour for those who are here on a day trip in Westman Islands
- May - Sep
- 1,5 - 2 hours
Take a guided, scenic boat tour from the Vestmanneyjar harbor to the beluga whale sanctuary and either Bjarnarey or Ellidaey island. Learn the story of the sanctuary’s first beluga whale residents; Little White and Little Grey, and get a glimpse at how our dedicated care team works to keep them healthy and happy. Then, look for puffins on one of the scenic islands in the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago before returning to the Sea Life Trust Beluga Whale Sanctuary Visitor Centre to see the puffin rescue centre and local species aquarium.
This product includes admission to the 1-hour boat trip and visitor centre admission for use on the same date.
Children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult.
Depending on sea conditions, the boat trip will go to the beluga whale sanctuary facility in Klettsvik and out to one of the nearby islands. Choice of the island will vary depending on the weather.
Guests can use the Visitor Centre portion of their admission either before or after the boat trip on the date of the booking.
We recommend you bring a camera and wear clothing suitable for an outdoor boating trip, such as closed-toed, nonslip shoes.
