Join us on a scenic guided walk around Stórhöfði, one of the best places in Iceland to observe Atlantic puffins in their natural habitat. This easy 3 km circular trail offers spectacular coastal views, dramatic sea cliffs, and excellent opportunities to spot nesting seabirds.

Along the way, your guide will share stories about the islands, local wildlife, and the unique nature of the area, with plenty of time to stop, enjoy the scenery, and take photos.

Getting There

Stórhöfði is located at the southern tip of Heimaey Island, approximately a 45-minute walk from the town centre.

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, as puffins are wild animals.
There are no restroom facilities along the hiking route.
Please dress according to the weather and wear suitable hiking footwear.
Tours operate subject to favourable weather conditions.
