Puffin Rescue!
Puffling Rescue Experience
Join a unique local tradition on Heimaey, where you’ll help rescue young puffins that become disoriented by the island’s lights during their first journey to the ocean. Together with local residents, you’ll search for stranded pufflings and safely release them back into the sea, contributing to a long-standing conservation effort.
